WhatsApp has recenlty rolled out its new update whcih has the option to backup all your chat history directly to the Google Drive.

You may already know that till now WhatsApp Chats gets backed automatically on your smartphone itself as "local back up" which helps you to get all chat history and conversations back when you change the sim card or reinstall the WhatsApp. But sometimes its really difficult to get all chats back if you change the phone or your memory card gets curropted as all the backup is saved locally, to overcome this WhatsApp team now enables you to save all the Chat backup directly to the Google drive which can restored any time you want.
With new updated version i.e. 2.12.45 you will have this option in your WhatsApp . New APK you can direclty download from the WhatsApp official download page or it can found on android mirror site too.
This feature allows you to backup only the conversations and photos, videos not gets backed up and all these backup files are hidden in Google Drive.
