With last update, WhatsApp had provided a two new features i.e. Read Receipt (showing two blue ticks) and Message Info.
This features is more useful for sender but most of the most of the people was not much happy as this update will not let them to give excuse of not reading the message as sender of the message can check at what time message has been delivered and read. So, may be after considering lots of discussions cum debates on technology sites WhatsApp has released their new update in which you can turn off these blue ticks i.e. Read Receipt to be shown.
Let's check how to do it.
- First if you have not updated your WhatsApp, Update it first from here.
- then open WhatsApp and go to "Settings"
- tap on "Account"
- tap on "Privacy"
It will open a window like below.
Just uncheck the checkbox infront of read receipt and that's it. Now no one can see when you have read their message but if you disabled "Read Receipts" the you too won't able to see when your message have been read.
