This post covers information about how you can convert your Smartphone into scanner which will help you to scan any document using an awesome app called “CamScanner”.
You might already use this app as this is one of the well known and most used app among the android users. If not, then you should consider using it.
Let’s check the features provided by it.
- You can scan in single mode or batch mode
- Optimized scan quality with various settings available.
- Can convert scanned documents to PDF with different PDF options such as Password setting.
- Share scanned documents
- Instantly print documents from app only.
- Ability to Fax documents (not tested by me though)
- Advance Editing available e.g. Watermark, annotations etc.
- You can save scanned image directly into gallery.
All the features described above are free. There are more other features available in premium version but these free features too are sufficient. In free version when you scan document and convert to PDF it adds “Generated by….” text in footer so if you want to avoid this you can simply scan and save image to computer and then prefer converting it to PDF.
Try CamScanner and let me know your experience about it.
You can download CamScanner here at Google Play Store
Checkout the video below to more about CamScanner and to see this app in action.
Thanks.
