Share with WhatsApp

Hello friend, In todays post I am going to share information about the feature included in Gmail by which you can endo the email which you just sent incase you have made some type or want to cancle the email.

This feature is not new as it was available in Gmail lab but now its available on the web too which makes it possible to undo the sent email.

To enable this feature in Gmail, you need to follow the below mentioned steps.

  • Click on the gear in the top right and select Settings.
  • Scroll down to the "Undo Send"
  • Check the checkbox
  • Set cancellation period (default is 10 seconds)
(Gmail delays the sending mail for the above period which allows you to undo the mail, if you fail to undo the mail before specified seconds or delay then your mail will be sent and you cannot undo the same)
  • Click on Save changes.

Note: If you have this setting enabled in Gmail Labs then it will be on by default.

Refer the below image.
