This post covers information about how to prepare your android smartphone for an emergency situation.
Very few people know this feature of an android which enables you to show the emergency information on your Smartphone’s home screen even when it is locked. Emergency doesn’t come by giving you a notice so better you always be ready for it by taking such simple safety measures.
In android smartphone there is a feature called “Owner Info” which has facility to provide a text for an emergency situation which gets shown on your home screen even when the screen is locked. This helps a lot when you are not in situation to inform your family members that you are in trouble so in that case people who are trying to help you ca at least have a ready information such as your name and phone number to whom they supposed to call to inform about you.
When you add information in Owner info then lock screen of your smartphone looks like below.
To add an information just go to the Settings > Security > Owner Info
